ITINERARY: GREAT SILK ROAD

Destination: Tashkent-Urgench (Khiva) – Bukhara – Samarkand - Tashkent
Duration: 8 days / 7 nights

1st day
Arrival to Tashkent. Transfer and accommodation at the hotel. Free time. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight.

2nd day
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to airport. Flight to Urgench. Arrival to Urgench. Transfer and accommodation at the hotel. Transfer and sightseeing in Khiva: Ichan-Kala complex: Tosh-Hovli palace, Juma mosque. Lunch at the “Toza Bog” emir’s residence. Sightseeing: Islam Hodja minaret, Kunya-Ark complex, Kalta-Minor minaret. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight.

3rd day
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Bukhara through Kizil-Kum desert. Lunch in desert by the way (picnic). Arrival to Bukhara and accommodation at the hotel. Free time. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight

4th day
Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing: Ark fortress, Lyaby-Haus complex, Bolo-Haus complex, mausoleum of Ismail Samani. Lunch at the local restaurant. Sightseeing: Chashma-Ayub mausoleum, medrese and minaret Kalyan, Mir Arab medrese. Dinner with folk at the Nodir Devon Begi medrese. Overnight

5th day
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Samarkand. Arrival to Samarkand and accommodation at the hotel. Lunch at the hotel or local restaurant. Sightseeing: Registan: Sher-Dor medrese, Tilla-Kori medrese, Ulugbek medrese, observatory of Ulugbek. Dinner at the private home. Overnight

6th day
Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing: Bibi-Khanum mausoleum, mausoleum Gur-Emir, ruins of ancient Afrosiab, oriental bazaar. Lunch at the hotel. Departure to Tashkent. Arrival to Tashkent and accommodation at the hotel. Dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight

7th day
Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing: Kukeldash medrese, Hast-Imam square, museum of applied art. Lunch at the local restaurant. Sightseeing: museum of the history of Temurids, Abul-Kasim medrese, oriental bazaar. Farewell dinner at the local restaurant restaurant. Overnight.

8th day
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to airport. Depart home.
