ITINERARY: ARAL

Destination: Tashkent-Nukus-plateau Ustyurt-Muynak-Ayazkala-Minbulak hollow-Ayazkuduk-Aydarkul-Dangelek-Sarmish-Nurata-Bukhara-Samarkand-Tashkent
Duration: 14 days / 13 nights

1st day
Arrival to Tashkent. Transfer and accommodation at the hotel. Free time. Dinner. Overnight.

2nd day
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to airport. Flight to Nukus. Arrival to Nukus. Transfer to «Aktum-Suk». Staying at the Aral sea ledges (5,3 descent from Ustyurt plateau), setting up a camp, dinner. Overnight in tents.

3rd day
Breakfast. Looking round ledge, descending to the sea & 2 km coming up to it, lunch, going on sightseeing, dinner. Overnight in tents.

4th day
Breakfast. Going out to Ustyurt plateau, transfer along ledges up to going down hollow to Muynak level, dinner on the way (picnic), sightseeing of ships cemetery, dinner. Overnight in tents.

5th day
Breakfast. Transfer: Kungrad-Nukus-Halkabad-Uchkuduk, dinner on the way (picnic), transfer to Ayazkala by hills, sightseeing of Ayazkala fortress, dinner. Overnight in Yurts.

6th day
Breakfast. Transfer to Djarakuduk (Minbulak hollow) across Kokcha through small Takirs (dry clay) and sands by an old geological way layed out by Saksaul, dinner on the way (picnic), sightseeing of ledges and the bottom of the ancient sea (- 1 ì), transfer to Minbulak, dinner. Overnight in tents.

7th day
Breakfast. Transfer to Kulkuduk, Bakali – camp of Romanov’s army (campaign to Khiva) – Petroglifs, across Uchkuduk, Beshbulak, Tamdibulak, Ayazkuduk to the lake Terakuduk (mining of salt), sightseeing, transfer to Yurt camp at the Dangelek settlement, dinner. Overnight in Yurts.

8th day
Breakfast. Camel ridding along desert to the Aydarkul lake (14 êì). Swimming, rest, lunch at the bank of the lake. Lunch at the bank of the lake. Camel ridding along desert to the Yurt camp (14 êì). Accommodation. Free time. Dinner. After dinner the songs of Akin (Kazakh singer) around the camp fire. Overnight in Yurts.

9th day
Breakfast. Transfer to Sarmish. Sightseeing: Petroglifs (bronze age). Transfer to Nurata. Lunch at the private home. Sightseeing. Transfer to Bukhara. Arrival to Bukhara and accommodation at the hotel. Free time. Dinner. Overnight.

10th day
Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing: Ark fortress, Lyaby-Haus complex, Bolo-Haus complex, mausoleum of Ismail Samani. Lunch at the local restaurant. Sightseeing: Chashma-Ayub mausoleum, medrese and minaret Kalyan, Mir Arab medrese. Dinner with folk at the Nodir Devon Begi restaurant. Overnight.

11th day
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Samarkand. Arrival to Samarkand. Accommodation at the hotel. Lunch at the hotel. Sightseeing: Registan: Sher-Dor medrese, Tilla-Kori medrese, Ulugbek medrese, observatory of Ulugbek. Dinner at the hotel or local restaurant.

12th day
Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing: Bibi-Khanum mausoleum, mausoleum Gur-Emir, ruins of ancient Afrosiab, oriental bazaar. Lunch at the private home. Transfer to Tashkent. Arrival to Tashkent. Dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight.

13th day
Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing: Abul Kasim medrese, Hast Imam square, museum of history of Timurids. Lunch at the local restaurant. Sightseeing: Kukeldash medrese, Alisher Navoi theatre, oriental bazaar. Farewell dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight.

14th day
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to airport. Depart home.
