ITINERARY: ADVENTURE ALONG UZBEKISTAN

Destination: Tashkent-Urgench(Khiva)-Bukhara-Sarmish-Nurata-Dangelek-Lyangar-Angidan-
-Hanaka-Shaldaraksay-Karmana-Samarkand-Tashkent
Duration: 12 days / 11 nights


1st day
Arrival to Tashkent. Transfer and accommodation at the hotel. Free time. Dinner. Overnight.

2nd day
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to airport. Flight to Urgench. Arrival to Urgench. Transfer to Khiva. Sightseeing: Ichan-Kala complex: Tosh-Hovli palace, Pahlavan Mahmud mausoleum, Juma mosque. Lunch at the “Toza Bog” emir’s residence. Sightseeing: Islam Hodja minaret, Kunya-Ark complex, Kalta-Minor minaret. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight.

3rd day
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Bukhara through Kizil-Kum desert. Lunch in desert by the way (picnic). Arrival to Bukhara and accommodation at the hotel. Free time. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight.

4th day
Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing: Ark fortress, Lyaby-Haus complex, Bolo-Haus complex, mausoleum of Ismail Samani. Lunch at the local restaurant. Sightseeing: Chashma-Ayub mausoleum, medrese and minaret Kalyan, Mir Arab medrese. Dinner with folk at the Nodir Devon Begi restaurant. Overnight.

5th day
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Sarmish via Karmana. Excursion: petroglifs (rock paints of the bronze age). Transfer to Nurata. Arrival to Nurata. Lunch at the private home. Sightseeing. Transfer to Yurt camp at the Dangelek settlement. Arrival to Yurt camp and accommodation. Free time. Dinner. Overnight in Yurts.

6th day
Breakfast. Camel ridding to Aydarkul lake. Swimming. Rest. Lunch at the bank of the lake. Track to the base. Dinner. After dinner the songs of Akin (Kazakh singer) around the camp fire. Overnight in tents.

7th day
Breakfast. Camel ridding. Transfer to Lyangar settlement through Nurata. Sightseeing: local museum, descending by foot up to the apricot grove. Lunch. Horse ridding to the Angidan settlement. Dinner at the national house. Overnight.

8th day
Breakfast. Horse ridding to the Hanaka canyon. Lunch. Horse ridding to the Shaldaraksay canyon. Setting up a camp. Dinner. Overnight in tents.

9th day
Breakfast. Descending to the Ubayt canyon. Transfer to Samarkand. Lunch by the way (picnic). Arrival to Samarkand and accommodation at the hotel. Free time. Dinner at the Mubora private home. Overnight.

10th day
Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing: Registan: Sher-Dor medrese, Tilla-Kori medrese, Ulugbek medrese, observatory of Ulugbek. Lunch at the local restaurant. Sightseeing: Bibi-Khanum mausoleum, mausoleum Gur-Emir, ruins of ancient Afrosiab, oriental bazaar. Dinner at the hotel or local restaurant. Overnight.

11th day
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Tashkent. Arrival to Tashkent. Lunch at the local restaurant. Sightseeing: Kukeldash medrese, Hast Imam square, Abul Kasim medrese. Farewell dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight.

12th day
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to airport. Depart home.
